Forum Topic Messages

This page displays messages that have been posted to a topic.

Add a message by clicking on the Post New Message button. Compose your message in the Editize editor window, then click on the Save button at the bottom. Your message will now appear in that topic.

You can also quote a previous message in your message by clicking on the Comment () icon to start a new message. The text of the previous message will be displayed in the Editize editor window surrounded by <quote> tags.

Managing Messages

This section refers to red and green icons:

You may wish to mark messages as you read them. You can do this for each message using the red icon to the right. A click on the red icon will mark the message as read and will remove the message from view. You can also use the button to Mark All As Read instead of marking each message individually.

If you wish to view all messages, both read and unread, choose the Display All button. At that point, if you wish to change the status of a message, use the red or green icons on the right.

Editing and Deleting Your Messages

For each message that you have posted, you have the option to edit or delete that message. Click on the Comment/Edit icon () located on the left side of the date of your message. Clicking on that icon will open an Editize editor window with your posting. You can then edit or delete your message. If you edit your posting, it will be marked with the current date and time.
