Settings Tool - System Settings
The Systems Settings section contains information used by SiteScripter. Each of the settings will be described individually.
The Text Editor Height setting is used whenever the Editize rich-text editor is displayed in a form. This editor is used for page editing and message editing in forums. The default height of 400 pixels is generally a good value for most computer screens. If you have a large computer screen, you may wish to increase this value so that Editize uses more of your screen. The width of the Editize editor will always fill the screen and is not adjustable.
The Display List Size setting is used whenever SiteScripter is displaying a list of items, for example, a list of members. If the number of items to be displayed is greater than the value you set for this setting, SiteScripter will automatically display an alphabetical toolbar and only display items beginning with the selected letter. By default, the first letter alphabetically for which there is an item will be selected. This reduces the amount of scrolling that is required to view the displayed list. The toolbar provides an option for displaying all items regardless of the number of items to display.
The Copy Form Emails To setting is used whenever a form section on a web page sends information to you. By selecting an active member of your library for this setting, SiteScripter will automatically send that member a copy of the form emails that are sent to you. You can use this setting to ensure that form emails are seen by someone while you are on vacation or leave. If you do not want anyone to receive copies of your form emails, select "No one" from the pull-down menu.
The last two pieces of information displayed in this section describe the network address of your computer and the web browser and web browser version you are using. This information may be important for correcting problems with the SiteScripter system. You cannot edit this information.
