Group Directory Sections
Another type of section that is integrated with the information you provide to SiteScripter is the Group Directory section. This section type allows you to display a directory of groups you have defined for your intranet. You can choose to list all of the groups you have defined or select a single group type to list.
There are several display options you can choose from when creating a Group Directory section:
You can choose to display column headings for the group directory listing. This will display the headings "Name" and "Description" above the appropriate column. The "Description" column heading will only be displayed if you choose to include descriptions as described below. You may wish to exclude column headings when the text of your web page describes the directory content and the headings would be redundant.
You can choose to display the description of each group in the directory listing. This can be useful if you are listing groups which are not immediately familiar to your members.
Finally, you can choose to link the name of the group to the group's home page. Home pages are defined in the Groups tool. If you select this option and a group has had a home page defined for it, the group name will become a link to that home page.
